I’m Hannah, bartender & digital designer turned chandler, living in Sydney, Australia.
The story of Evrgreen began with a simple love of serenity. Intimate candlelit dinners, soothing baths, movie nights, and slow Sundays. I cherished coming home to my sanctuary, which was filled with luxurious scents and soft ambience. It was the most authentic expression of myself I could create. There is a magic that exists in these moments of presence, connection, and stillness.
In our fast-paced world filled with distractions and demands, we long for a way to reconnect with the present moment. Scent was always something that helped me find my centre, and guided me into the present. The smell of sand and sunscreen, or the fragrance of a new candle filling my (freshly cleaned) bedroom. These were what I appreciated the most.
So in 2021, during lockdown - when dinners with friends, first dates, and weekend getaways were put on hold - I struggled to find those moments of scent magic. So, as a coping mechanism, I endeavoured to re-create those olfactive memories and eternalise them in soy wax candles.
And that is how Evrgreen was born.
Drawing inspiration from nature, we strive to share this serenity, and a connection to the present moment through our scents. Every fragrance we create is an ode to the kaleidoscope of scents that dance through our lives - inviting nostalgia and sparking joy.
As a small business, we pour our hearts into every aspect of our craft. Our artisan candles are meticulously handcrafted with love and care; from blending each fragrance, and designing the labels, to hand-pouring each candle.
We understand that your home is your sanctuary - a respite from the chaos of everyday life - and those spaces deserve only the best quality candles and home fragrances. We want you to feel like you receive not only an amazing product, but also a piece of our story.
Our promise to the planet.
At Evrgreen, sustainability is built into our foundations. None of this green-washing BS. We take great care in selecting natural, renewable resources that leave as little impact as possible on our planet. We use biodegradable 100% soy wax and cotton wicks for our candles, and an eco-solvent diffuser base which contains no VOC’s. All of our fragrances are free from phthalates, parabens & synthetic dyes.
All our packaging from end to end is either recyclable or reusable - from natural paper labels and boxes, to reusable cotton pouches with soy-based ink stamping. Our glass vessels are easily repurposed, or recycled (after they've been cleaned) - allowing you to embrace a more eco-conscious lifestyle without sacrificing luxury.
It is our promise to always look for new and more eco-friendly ways to package and deliver - as the industry evolves, so will we.
